Since 2012, Skyline Writing Center tutors have been building identity affirming, justice seeking, equity driven, humanized spaces inside and outside of Skyline by encouraging growth mindsets, sharing vulnerability, multiplying funds of knowledge, and engaging our community.  In addition to conducting more than 9,000 sessions at Skyline, tutors have celebrated literacy and writing with countless students and families across Washtenaw County in partnership with Eastern Michigan’s Office of Campus and Community Writing, 826michigan, YpsiWrites, and the University of Michigan’s Sweetland Center for Writing.
